Kings register first win in BFL

DHAKA, Oct 20, 2025 (BSS) - Bashundhara Kings registered their first win in 
the Bangladesh Football League beating Fortis Football Club by 2-1 goals held 
at Bashundhara Kings are in the capital today (Monday).

In the day's match, Brazilian forward Dorielton Gomes and Foysal Ahmed Fahim 
scored one goal each for Kings who led the first half by 1-0 goal. Nigerian 
forward Onyekachi Okafor netted a lone goal for the Fortis Football Club. 

The early breakthrough came for Kings when Dorielton scored the first goal in 
the 1st minute and after the resumption forward Fahim doubled the lead 
scoring the second goal for Kings in the 60th minute of the match. 

Okafor pulled one back scoring a lone goal for Fortis in the 90+5th minute.

Earlier, Kings were held 2-2 by PWD SC while Fortis beat Mohammedan by 2-0 
goals in their respective first round matches.
