Accused of Jamalpur's abduction rape case held in Dinajpur

RANGPUR, Oct 27, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested the main accused in an abduction case and rescued the kidnapped teenage girl of Jamalpur from the Madhya Bhullir Para area under Khansama police station of Dinajpur on Sunday.

 
The arrested kidnapper is Md Ismail, 20, son of Md Kashem alias Kashi Bepari of village Jhalar Char under Dewanganj police station of Jamalpur district, a press release said.

 
Citing the complaint filed by the plaintiff, the release said that accused Md Ismail had been harassing the victim girl, 14, in various ways at different times and places. 
 

The accused and his accomplices forcibly kidnapped the victim from behind the victim's residence in Kandirgram under Dewanganj police station in Jamalpur district at 8:30 pm on July 16, 2025. 

 
Later, the victim's father filed a kidnapping case in this incident with Dewanganj police station in Jamalpur district on July 20, 2025.
 

A joint team of RAB-13's Nilphamari Camp and RAB-14's Jamalpur Camp in a raid arrested the main accused Md Ismail and rescued the minor victim girl from the Madhya Bhullir Para area under Khansama police station of Dinajpur at 1:30 am on Sunday 

 
The elite force has handed over the arrested accused along with the victim to Dewanganj police station in Jamalpur district for further action, the release further said.
