2 pulse mills penalized in Charghat

RAJSHAHI, Nov 6, 2025 (BSS) - A mobile court has penalized two pulse mills Taka two lakh on charge of manufacturing and supplying adulterated and colour-mixed pulses in Charghat Upazila in the district on Wednesday afternoon.

Executive Magistrate Rahatul Karim Mijan conducted the mobile court and detected Parvej Dal and Shorting Mill and Messers Mama Bhagne Enterprise at Halidagachhi area.

The mobile court also detected huge colour-mixed pulses after searching the mills.

Subsequently, the court fined Babar Ali, owner of Parvej Dal and Shorting Mill, and Nasir Uddin, owner of Messers Mama Bhagne Enterprize, Taka one lakh each.

Magistrate Rahatul Mijan reminded the mill owners that the highest legal punishment will be ensured if they commit such type of offense further.
