CHATTOGRAM, Nov 20, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) today celebrated the 61st birthday of its Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman with a doa and milad mahfil at the party's Nasimon Bhaban office in Chattogram city.

Organised after the Asar prayer, the programme brought together leaders and activists who offered prayers seeking blessings, good health and long life for Tarique Rahman. 

Speakers recalled his leadership, resilience and organisational contributions, noting his role in strengthening and modernising the party.

Participants also prayed for his continued success, welfare and safety as he carries out his responsibilities at the helm of the organisation.

City BNP Member Secretary Nazimur Rahman, former Member Secretary Abul Hashem Bakkar, Joint Conveners Kazi Belal Uddin, Shawkat Azam Khwaja, Shafiqur Rahman Swapan, Harun Zaman, Niaz Mohammad Khan, Shah Alam, RU Chowdhury Shaheen, Yasin Chowdhury Liton, Ahamedul Alam Russell, Shihab Uddin Mobin and other leaders were present at the event.
