Doa Mahfil held in Tangail praying for Khaleda Zia’s recovery

TANGAIL, Dec 8, 2025 (BSS) -  A doa mahfil was held in the district on Monday afternoon seeking the recovery and long life of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

The programme, held at the Tangail Shaheed Smriti Municipal Park, was attended by District BNP leaders, activists, and local supporters. District BNP General Secretary Advocate Farhad Iqbal was present as the chief guest.

Town BNP President Mehedi Hasan Alim, General Secretary Ejazul Haque Sabuj, Sadar Upazila BNP General Secretary Abdur Rouf, Senior Vice President Hadiuzzaman Sohel, and former District BNP Publicity Secretary Rafiqul Islam Swapan, among others, addressed a brief discussion meeting before the prayers.

At the doa mahfil,  speakers expressed their hopes for the speedy recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia and called for unity among party members.
