BGB seizes Indian smuggled goods in Satkhira

SATKHIRA, Dec 13, 2025 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) today seized Indian smuggled goods including sarees and drugs from different border areas of Madra and Kakdanga in Kolaroa upazila of the district.

On a tip-off, different BGB teams raided the aforesaid areas and recovered sarees and liquor.

Confirming the matter, BGB's Satkhira Battalion (33 BGB) commander Lt. Col. Kazi Ashikur Rahman said that the seized goods were handed over to Satkhira Customs and the narcotics department for destruction after filing a general diary with the Satkhira Narcotics Control Department.
