KHULNA, Dec 19, 2025 (BSS) - A protest rally was held in Khulna today demanding justice for the murder of Sharif Osman Hadi, spokerperson of Inqilab Manch.

The programme began after Juma prayers at the Baitun Nur Jame Mosque near New Market in the city. Participants marched through various streets and concluded with a brief gathering at the Shibbari intersection.

The rally, organised by the Revolutionary Student Masses of Khulna, drew students from multiple educational institutions as well as people from different walks of life.

Addressing the gathering, July Uprising activists said Sharif Osman Hadi was not affiliated with any political party and had raised his voice solely for Bangladesh's national interest, independence, and sovereignty, taking a strong stand against Indian hegemony.

Speakers emphasised that Hadi's sacrifice would never be forgotten and urged the student community to remain vigilant and united amid the current political and regional challenges.
