15,000 dogs to be vaccinated in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Jan 1, 2026 (BSS)- A total of 15,000 dogs in 41 wards of Chattogram city will be administered with rabies vaccinations. 

This was announced during an advocacy meeting held at the Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) office at Tiger Pass today.

The goal is to implement mass dog vaccination (MVV) in the CCC area to eliminate rabies.
 
 The meeting was chaired by CCC Chief Health Officer Dr. Md. Imam Hossain Rana. Acting Chief Executive Officer and Secretary of CCC Md. Ashraful Amin and officials of the CCC were present.
