MANIKGANJ, Jan 29, 2026 (BSS) - A total of 500 blankets were distributed among helpless and distressed people of the district on Wednesday.

The blanket distribution programme was organised by Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Manikganj District Unit .The blankets distribution was held at the Manikganj district office premises.

Secretary of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Manikganj District Unit Mirza Robiul Awal Swapon, Deputy Director Md Farhad Alam, Executive committee member Khandakar Md Antique and Solaiman Khan Tuhin and others were present on the occasion.
