RAB seizes contraband drugs in Dinajpur

RANGPUR, March 18, 2026 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 in a drive seized 149 bottles of Phensedyl-like illegal drugs from the Kanchon Bridge intersection under Kotwali Police Station of Dinajpur district on Tuesday night.
 
The seized contraband drugs included 99 bottles of Winserex and 50 bottles of Fairdyl, a press release said here this afternoon.
 
On a tip off, a smart team of the RAB-13’s Crime Prevention Company (CPC)-1 from Dinajpur Camp in the raid searched an abandoned auto-rickshaw and seized the drugs from the spot at 11 pm.
 
However, no one was arrested in the operation.
 
The elite force has filed a case against the absconding accused at the Kotwali police station in Dinajpur district and handed over the seized drugs and evidence to the police station, the release added.
