MANIKGANJ, April 1, 2026 (BSS) - The government has appointed Advocate Jamilur Rashid Khan, a senior leader of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), as the administrator of Manikganj Zilla Parishad.

The appointment was announced through a gazette notification issued on Tuesday.

Jamilur Rashid Khan previously served as the convener of Manikganj district BNP and was elected multiple times as president and general secretary of the Manikganj District Lawyers Association.

He has also been actively involved in the Manikganj District Sports Association and various social and cultural organizations.

Leaders and activists of the district BNP have congratulated him on his new role.
