Accused in Sitakunda murder case arrested in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, April 3, 2026 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-7) in Chattogram has arrested Md. Moshiur Rahman (60), an accused in a murder case, from the city's Gate No. 2 Rail Bit area on Thursday afternoon.

The arrest was made based on secret information regarding his involvement in the murder case at Sitakunda Police Station. 

Moshiur Rahman, son of Kazi Golam Hasan from Solimpur Union, was identified as the absconding accused No. 4 in the Sitakunda Police Station Case No. 13 dated October 5, 2025, under Section-302/34 of the Penal Code 1860. 

He was wanted in 10 cases, including murder, rape, gang rape, weapons offenses, and abetment to suicide in various police stations. Moshiur Rahman has been handed over to Sitakunda Police Station for further legal proceedings.
