BAGERHAT, May 13, 2026 (BSS) - Upazila Chhatra Dal held a procession and rally in Kachua to welcome the newly formed Bagerhat District Chhatra Dal committee.

The programme began from the Kachua Upazila BNP office this afternoon and passed through key points of the town before concluding with a brief rally.

From the procession, participants extended congratulations to Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman, and Chhatra Dal central president Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir.

Speakers at the rally expressed hope that the new committee would strengthen organisational activities of Chhatra Dal in the district.

Recently, an eight-member partial committee of Bagerhat District Chhatra Dal was approved with Atiqur Rahman Russell as president and Niyamul Kabir Rahul as general secretary, with instructions to form a full committee within 30 days.
