80 arrested in Tejgaon division anti-crime drive

DHAKA, May 13, 2026 (BSS) - Police arrested a total of 80 people during special drives in different crime-prone areas under the Tejgaon Division.

According to police sources, the operation was conducted on Tuesday as part of regular anti-crime activities in the capital.

Among those arrested, 10 were detained by Tejgaon Police Station, 11 by Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station, 23 by Mohammadpur Police Station, 13 by Adabor Police Station, seven by Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station, and 16 by Hatirjheel Police Station.

All detainees were produced before the court.
