Doa mahfil held in Madaripur on Shaheed Zia's 45th martyrdom anniv

MADARIPUR, June 5, 2026 (BSS) - A doa mahfil (prayer gathering) followed by discussions was held today in Shibchar upazila of the district, marking the 45th martyrdom anniversary of BNP founder Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman.

The event was organized at the playground of Amtalia Hakimia Darul Uloom Orphanage Madrasa in Shibchar municipality, attended by Madaripur-2 lawmaker Md. Jahandar Ali Mia as the chief guest.

Shibchar upazila BNP convener Shahadat Hossain Khan chaired the function and member secretary Sohel Rana moderated it.
