Sonali Bank holds special loan distribution-collection camp

RANGPUR, June 17, 2026 (BSS) - The Laldighihat Branch of Sonali Bank PLC organized a daylong special public loan distribution and collection camp on the premises of Pathaner Hat High School in Badarganj upazila of Rangpur on Wednesday. 
 
The camp was arranged as part of the special loan collection programme on the occasion of loan collection month-2026 to inform customers about loan disbursement, loan recovery, opening new accounts and various modern services of the bank.
 
A large attendance and enthusiasm of customers was observed in the programme. 
 
General Manager of the Rangpur General Manager's Office of Sonali Bank PLC Md Aminul Islam attended the programme as the chief guest. 
 
Deputy General Manager of the Rangpur Principal Office of Sonali Bank PLC Nasimatul Jannat was present as the special guest. 
 
In his speech, the chief guest urged the customers to maintain a good relationship with the bank by opening deposit accounts, taking necessary loans, repaying loans on time and availing the modern services of the bank. 
 
“Regular loan repayment plays an important role in increasing the financial capacity of individuals and organizations and in the economic development of the country,” he said. 
 
At this time, general customers praised the customer service of Laldighihat Branch of Sonali Bank PLC and expressed positive opinions about various services of the bank. 
 
At the event, the General Manager exchanged views with defaulting borrowers and took effective initiatives to recover loans. 
 
In addition, he exchanged views with new entrepreneurs and regular loan repaying customers and inquired about their various activities and future plans.
