BHOLA, June 25, 2026 (BSS) - A total of 293,136 children aged between six and 59 months will receive Vitamin A Plus capsules across Bhola district under 
the National Vitamin A Plus Campaign-2026 scheduled to be held on June 28.

The information was disclosed at a press conference held at the conference room of the Bhola Civil Surgeon's Office this morning.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Moniruzzaman addressed the press conference as the chief guest and outlined preparations for the district-wide campaign.

According to the District Health Department, the programme will be conducted simultaneously at 1,689 centres across the district from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm 
on June 28.

Under the campaign, children aged six to 11 months will be administered one blue Vitamin A capsule while children aged 12 to 59 months will receive one 
red Vitamin A capsule.

Sources at the Civil Surgeon's Office said 619 health workers and 108 supervisors will be deployed at different centres to ensure the smooth and 
successful implementation of the programme.
