BSA’s Festival of Youth program begins in Cox’s Bazar

DHAKA, Jan 29, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh Surfing Association 
(BSA) has taken initiative to celebrate the week-long Festival 
of Youth in the laboni point sea beach at the tourist hub of 
Cox’s Bazar district.   

To celebrate the festival, a rally was brought out from the 
open stage of the district administration this (Wednesday) 
morning keeping ahead the slogan “Let’s change the country, 
change the world.” 

A large number of men and women surfers participated in the 
rally which circled the entire beach area.

BSA general secretary Mowazzem Hossain Rokon, its executive 
member and senior instructor Saifullah Sifat, senior surfer 
Sukkur and Jago Foundation project manager Amzad Hossain gave 
a motivational speech to the young surfers present on the 
occasion.

The festival includes gathering of surfers every morning, 
special training under the supervision of senior instructors, 
surfing demonstrations at various important spots on the beach 
and creating awareness to keep the beach clean.

The festival of youth will conclude through a selection of the 
best performers and a reception program on February 5.
