Mini Marathon held in Madaripur

MADARIPUR, Nov 14, 2025 (BSS) - A mini marathon was held today in the district to celebrate the "Youth Festival 2025".

 The event took place encircling the main roads of the town.

The marathon was organized under the initiative of the District Administration and managed by the District Social Services Office.

Many young men and women participated in the running competition held in the morning.

Key officials attending the event included Additional Deputy Commissioner Al Noman, Deputy Director of the District Social Services Office Bishwajit Baidya Nadim, and Additional Superintendent of Police Jahangir Alam.

Speaking at the event, the officials highlighted that organizing such sports activities plays an important role in involving the youth in healthy, disciplined, and positive activities.

After the competition concluded, prizes were distributed among the winners.

The District Administration announced that they will continue similar activities in the future to encourage the youth.
