SATKHIRA, Jan 29, 2025 (BSS) - The T-10 cricket tournament has begun today
(Wednesday) at Satkhira district stadium on occasion of Festival of Youth
keeping ahead the theme of "Let's change the country, change the world."
Satkhira deputy commissioner Mohammad Mostaq Ahmed formally inaugurated the
meet as the chief guest, organized by Ministry of Youth and Sports and
implemented by the district administration and district sports office.
Sadar upazila executive officer, Showayeb Ahmad, district sports officer
Mahbubur Rahman, former FIFA referee Tayeb Hasan Babu and executive
magistrate Arfin Siddiqua , were among others, present in the opening
ceremony, presided by additional deputy commissioner (general) Bishnupada
Pal.
A total of eight teams are participating in the tournament.
