PIROJPUR, Jan 30, 2025 (BSS) - The youth kabaddi U-18 tournament (boys' and girls'), on occasion of festival of youth, began at town club ground in Pirojpur today.
Superintendent of Police Khan Mohammad Abu Naser inaugurated the tournament as the chief guest, organized by Pirojpur district police.
Additional superintendent of police Sheikh Mostafizur Rahman, district BNP member secretary Gazi Wahiduzzaman Lavlu, sadar police station office-in-charge Abdus Sobahan were present as special guests in the opening ceremony.
A total of eleven teams from seven upazilas of Pirojpur district are participating in this kabaddi meet.
Speaking as the chief guest in the opening ceremony, police superintendent said they have organized the kabaddi tournament because the festival of youth would be continuing one month in this district.
He said that various activities of the district police would also continue on the occasion of festival of youth.
