DHAKA, Feb 1, 2025 (BSS) – A Women Basketball tournament on the occasion of Youth Festival was arranged at Dhanmondi Sulatana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex here today

Bangladesh Basketball Federation (BBF) president Dr. Shemim Aka Nawaz formally inaugurated the day-long meet organized by Bangladesh Women Sports Association (BWSA).

Acting president of BWSA Anjuman Ara Aksir, acting general secretary Firoza Karim Neli and executive members were present on the occasion.

A total of thirty two players took part in the daylong event.

A cricket tournament on the occasion of Youth Festival will also be held on February 13-14. Four local cricket teams will take part in the event.
