MOSCOW, Jan 28, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Russia's army said Tuesday its forces had captured a large village in Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region, the latest territorial gain for Moscow's advancing troops.

Russia's defence ministry said its forces had "liberated" the village of Dvorichna, which had a pre-conflict population of more than 3,000 and had already been seized by Russian forces in 2022, before being re-taken by Kyiv months later.
