WASHINGTON, July 1, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit the White House on July 7 for talks with President Donald Trump, a US administration official told AFP Monday, as Washington presses for a ceasefire in Gaza.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said earlier that Netanyahu had "expressed interest" in what would be his third meeting with Trump since the Republican returned to power in January, and that both sides were working on a date.
