KISHOREGANJ, Sept 15, 2025 (BSS) – BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has stand by a young football talent Jisan in Katiadi upazila of the district to develop his skills on a larger platform.

Jisan, a 10-year-old football prodigy is locally known as the 'Little Maradona' for his impressive football playing skills. 

A video of Jisan's impressive football skills went viral on social media, catching the attention of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. Impressed by his talent, Tarique Rahman instantly announced that he would take responsibility of Jisan’s training, education and for the betterment of his future.

BNP's Sports Affairs Secretary and former National Team captain Aminul Haque visited Jisan’s home on behalf of Tarique Rahman this afternoon. 

He handed over a pair of boots, a jersey, a football, and other sports equipment to Jisan along with financial assistance to the family.

Jisan's father Joj Mia said, "I always believed that one day someone would recognize my son. Today, that dream has come true."

Aminul Haque said, "Jisan has a rare talent. Tarique Rahman has decided that this talent will not be wasted. He will be supported in every possible way."
