DUBAI, July 9, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Five crew aboard a commercial vessel attacked off the rebel-held Yemen coast were rescued, a maritime monitor reported Wednesday, with Filipino authorities earlier saying all but one of the 22 crew were citizens.

"Search and rescue operations commenced overnight" following the attack earlier this week, said the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations, adding that "five crew members have been rescued and searches continue for those remaining". UK-based security firm Ambrey told AFP the MV Eternity C vessel had sunk.
