Over 180,000 Thais evacuated during Cambodia border clashes: govt

BANGKOK, Dec 10, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - More than 180,000 Thais have been evacuated to safety since the start of a reignited border conflict with Cambodia, the Thai government said Wednesday.

As of late Tuesday, 180,125 people have been evacuated in the border provinces of Ubon Ratchathani, Sisaket, Surin and Buriram due to the fighting, the public relations department said in a statement.
