SANGSAD BHABAN, June 29, 2026 (BSS) - The adjourned meeting of the first 13th Parliamentary standing committee on the law, justice and parliamentary 
affairs ministry's meeting held today.

The meeting was held at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban with its chairman Barrister Andaleeve Rahman Partho in the chair.

The meeting also discussed elaborately on Narcotics Control (Amendment) Bill 2026 and Public Examinations (offences) Amendment Bill, 2026, according to a parliamentary release here today.

The meeting recommends to submit a report to the parliament after thorough verification and review of these bills.

Committee members Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Md Asaduzzaman, Muhammad Nawshad Zamir, Shakila Farzana, M Manzurul Islam, M 
Hasan Rajib Prodhan, Akhter Hossen and Al Faruque Abdul Latif participated in the meeting.

Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed also participated in the meeting in a special invitation.

Concerned ministry officials including law and judiciary division secretary, legislative and parliamentary affairs division secretary and senior parliament secretariat officials, among others, participated in the meeting.
