ACC files case against Boby

DHAKA, July 28, 2025(BSS)- The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has lodged a case against Radwan Mujib Siddique Boby, son of Sheikh Rehana, on the allegation of acquiring illegal wealth worth about Taka 2.89 crore and suspicious transaction of Taka 12 crore.

ACC Deputy Assistant Director Abdullah Al Mamun on Sunday lodged the case against Boby, said ACC Director General (Prevention) Akhter Hossain at a press briefing at the commission headquarters today.

According to the allegation, Boby acquired moveable and immoveable assets worth over Taka 2.89 crore beyond his known income source. He also made suspicious transaction of over Taka 12.48 crore in his bank accounts.
 
The anti graft body found that he had no legal business in the country but shown Taka 4,85,26,000 in his income tax return whereas his legal family income was only Taka 1.66 crore. 

He also laundered the money by depositing, withdrawing and converting through various accounts.
