JAMALPUR, May 10, 2026 (BSS) - The monthly district law and order meeting was held today at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner here.

Jamalpur-3 lawmaker Mostafizur Rahman Babul attended the meeting as adviser.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Yusuf Ali presided over the meeting, while Additional District Magistrate AKM Abdullah Bin Rashid conducted it.

In the meeting, Mostafizur Rahman Babul said law enforcement agencies should take special measures to maintain law and order ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

He also said the prices of essential commodities in the markets should be strictly monitored to ensure market stability. He further directed the concerned authorities to take strict action against drug peddlers to curb the menace of drugs.
