Govt proposes Tk 10,362 crore for disaster management

DHAKA, June 02, 2025 (BSS) - Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed today proposed allocating Taka 10,362 crore for Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief for fiscal year (FY) 2025-2026, which is Taka 251 crore higher than the allocation in the revised budget in FY 2024-2025. 


Of the proposed Taka 10,362 crore, Taka 5,735 was allocated for operating task and Taka 4,627 for the annual development plan (ADP) of the ministry.


The finance adviser revealed the proposed national budget for fiscal year 2025-26 in a pre-recorded broadcast on Bangladesh Television (BTV) and Bangladesh Betar.
