DHAKA, June 2, 2024 (BSS) - The government has allocated TK 4,899 crore for the Ministry of Public Administration in the proposed budget for the fiscal year (FY) 2025-26.

The allocation is TK 753 crore higher than the revised budget of the previous FY 2024-25.

Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed today proposed the allocation after unveiling a TK 7,90,000 crore proposed national budget for the fiscal year 2025–26. 

Of the total allocation, TK 4261 crore was proposed for operational and TK 638 crore for development purposes. 

While TK 149 crore was proposed for Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) which is TK 67 crore higher than the revised budget for the FY 2024-25.
