DHAKA, June 2, 2024 (BSS) - The government has allocated Taka 11,204 crore for the Ministry of Water Resources in the proposed budget for the fiscal year (FY) 2025-26.

The allocation is Taka 1,480 core lower than the revised budget of the previous FY 2024-25. 

Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed today proposed the allocation after unveiling a Taka 7, 90,000 crore national budget for the fiscal year 2025-26.

Of the total allocation, Taka 2,714 crore was proposed for operation and Taka 8490 crore for development purposes.
