Fakhrul, Khasru, Barrister Zaima join National Prayer Breakfast

DHAKA, Feb 7, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and Barrister Zaima Rahman attended National Prayer Breakfast event in Washington DC.

Zaima Rahman, granddaughter of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman and former premier Begum Khaleda Zia, immersed herself in the international arena by attending the traditional event as a representative of her father Tarique Rahman, acting chairman of BNP.

In this event, prominent figures from the political, social, diplomatic, business and cultural spheres of different countries have been invited.

The event began at 7 am on February 6 in Washington DC and lasted for 7 hours.

This event is usually held on the 'First Thursday' of February. In addition to President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance, the event was attended by senators and members of Congress, as well as invited world leaders and business and professional figures.
