Chief Adviser honoured by Qatari armed forces

DOHA (Qatar), April 23, 2025 (BSS) - Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus was given a ceremonial guard of honour by Qatari armed forces here today.

A smartly turned out contingent drawn from Qatari armed forces accorded the guard of honour to the Bangladesh interim government head ahead of his meeting with Qatar Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Sheikh Saud bin Abdul rahman bin Hassan Al-Thani in Doha on the sidelines of Earthna Summit. 

During the meeting, the Chief Adviser hoped that both nations would be benefited professionally through further strengthening ties between the two Armed Forces and nations. 

He assured that the Bangladesh Armed Forces would bring their immense experience, they gathered from the UN peacekeeping operations in the last three decades, for the benefit of the Qatari Armed Forces.
