CA for finalizing work plan for next phase of talks with political parties

DHAKA, May 8, 2025 (BSS) - Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today instructed the National Consensus Commission to quickly finalize the work plan for the next phase of talks with political parties.
 
He made the instruction at a meeting of the Commission held at the State Guest House Jamuna here this afternoon.
 
Prof Yunus, also head of the Commission, lauded the positive attitudes of the political parties on reforms in the first phase of discussions.
 
The progress of the commission's overall activities was reviewed in meeting. 
 
The one-and-a-half-hour meeting was attended by Commission Vice-Chairman Professor Ali Riaz, its members Dr Badiul Alam Majumder, Dr Iftekharuzzaman, Justice Md Emdadul Haque, Safar Raj Hossain and Dr Mohammad Ayub Miah.
 
Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul, Planning Adviser Professor Wahiduddin Mahmud, Housing and Public Works Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan, Environment, Forest and Climate Change Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Energy and Road Transport Adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan and Information and Broadcasting Ministry Adviser Mahfuj Alam were also present, among others.
