BAU declares indefinite closure

MYMENSINGH, Aug 31, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) was closed for an indefinite period following an emergency syndicate meeting held virtually at 9:30 am today.

As part of the directive, all residential students have been asked to vacate their respective halls by 9:00 am tomorrow (Monday), September 1.

Meanwhile, the responsibility of maintaining law and order on campus has been handed over to the local administration to ensure peace and stability during the closure.

General Secretary of the BAU Teachers’ Association Professor Dr. Md. Asaduzzaman Sarkar confirmed the matter.
