45,963 new voters added in Bagerhat

BAGERHAT, Sept 11, 2025 (BSS) - The number of voters in Bagerhat district has increased by 45,963 compared to the last parliamentary elections, according to the draft final voter list published on Wednesday.

The total number of voters now stands at 13,45,272, including 6,73,627 men and 6,71,633 women.

A notification signed by District Election Officer Md. Aliul Islam said that claims and objections regarding the draft polling center list will be received until September 25, while the final list will be published on October 20.

District Election Officer Aliul Islam further assured that the upcoming 13th parliamentary elections will be conducted in a free, fair and transparent manner.
