DHAKA, Oct 10, 2025 (BSS) - Renowned Bangladeshi photographer and human rights activist Shahidul Alam today arrived in Istanbul of Türkiye by a Turkish Airlines flight, Chief Adviser’s Press Wing said. 

“Bangladesh Consul General in Istanbul Mohammad Mizanur Rahman receives renowned Bangladeshi photographer and human rights activist Shahidul Alam on his return from Israel by Turkish Airlines flight on Friday,” it said.

Earlier, the press wing said Shahidul Alam left Israel for Türkiye by the flight – TK 6921.

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus thanked Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his cooperation in securing his release and repatriation from Israel.
