DHAKA, Dec 2, 2025 (BSS) - The chiefs of the three services tonight visited former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital.

The service chiefs are Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral M Nazmul Hassan, and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan. 

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the visit in a brief message issued tonight.

According to BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan, the three chiefs arrived at the hospital around 9:00 pm to meet the party chairperson. They inquired about her health from the medical board and left the hospital at 9:20 pm.

Khaleda Zia is receiving treatment under the supervision of Professor Dr. Shahabuddin Talukder. 

Her physicians have said her condition is stable. She is currently in the hospital's coronary care unit (CCU) and requires time for full recovery.

Her elder son Tarique Rahman and his wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman are monitoring her condition closely from London. In addition, the late Arafat Rahman Koko's wife, Syeda Sharmila Rahman Sithi, is staying by her side.
