Special doa offered after Jummah prayers seeking Khaleda Zia's recovery

DHAKA, Dec 5, 2025 (BSS) - Special doa was offered at all mosques across the country after Jummah prayers today, seeking speedy recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, three-time former Prime Minister and wife of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman.
 
In addition, temples, churches, pagodas and all other places of worship are holding prayers for her recovery according to their respective religious traditions and practices.

Earlier, on Thursday, the interim government called for special prayers across the country seeking speedy recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

It asked all mosques across the country to hold special doa after Jummah prayers.

The government also urged the people from all walks of life to pray from their respective places for Begum Khaleda Zia's early recovery.
