PM addresses Upazila Health and Family Planning Officers’ conference

DHAKA, April 18, 2026 (BSS) – Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today addressed the Upazila Health and Family Planning Officers’ conference at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital this morning.

The Prime Minister joined the conference at 11:00 am and delivered a directional speech addressing the field level health officials.

The Health Services Division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare organized the conference to make the activities of Upazila Health and Family Planning Officers time-befitting to reach health services to the people at the field level.

The ministry also organized the conference aimed at informing the officials about the overall activities and providing them with government instructions.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain and State Minister Dr MA Muhit were present at the event, among others.

At the event, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman handed over crests to six doctors nominated under the emergency service category.
