DHAKA, May 7, 2026 (BSS) – Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) Executive Director Dr Iftekharuzzaman today paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

He met the Prime Minister at the Cabinet Division of the Secretariat here at 11 am, Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman said.

During the meeting, they discussed necessary measures to make the country corruption-free.

The Prime Minister reiterated his government’s firm stance against corruption, Ruman added.

Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Ghani was present at the meeting.
