DHAKA, May 8, 2026 (BSS) - President Mohammed Shahabuddin is set to leave Dhaka for the United Kingdom (UK) tomorrow for a medical check-up.

“A commercial flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the President, his wife Dr Rebeka Sultana, and a small entourage will depart from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport tomorrow morning,” according to the President’s Press Wing.

The President is scheduled to return home on May 17.

He is expected to undergo necessary medical examinations at a specialised hospital in London as per physicians’ advice.
