CHATTOGRAM, Jan 23, 2025 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Secretary Mahbuba Farzana said that Bangladesh Betar Chattogram center will be modernized with modern instruments and infrastructures for making its programmes more entertaining and attractive.

“Modernization of the center will help officials and artists to make air-time befitting programmes which will eventually attract more listeners,” she said while visiting Bangladesh Betar Chattogram Center here today.
 
The Information and broadcasting secretary visited the site of the under construction 20-storied building of the project titled “Bangladesh Betar Chattogram Center Modernization and Installation of Digital Broadcasting Equipment” at city’s Agrabad Commercial area.

After visiting the construction site, she hoped that the project worth about Tk 21 crore will be completed within the stipulated time.

Rashed Al Amin, Joint Secretary of Information Ministry, Bangladesh Beter director general ASM Jahid Hossain,  chief engineer Munir Ahmed, Director of Bangladesh Beter Chattogram Mahfuzul Hoque and Project Director Ashifur Rahman among others were present during her visit .
