DMP files 2,594 cases for violating traffic rules

DHAKA, Feb 04, 2024 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 2,594 cases in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.

DMP Traffic Division has filed those cases and realized fines during the last two days February 2-3 during regular drive against traffic rules breakers, according to a press release issued today.

During the drive, a total of 206 vehicles were impounded and 63 others towed.

The drive will continue to bring discipline on the streets of Dhaka, the release added.
