DHAKA, Feb 5, 2025 (BSS) - The interim government has appointed Sheikh Matiar 
Rahman, a Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, as the administrator 
to the Bangladesh Live and Chilled Food Exporters Association.

The Ministry of Commerce today issued an order in this regard under the 
Section 17 of the Trade Organizations Act, 2022. 

According to the order, the administrator would hand over the 
responsibilities to the newly elected body of the Association after holding a 
free and fair election within 120 days and thus apprise the development to 
the ministry.
