Tarique Rahman inquires health condition of injured journo Javed

DHAKA, Feb 5, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman today inquired about the physical condition of ATN News senior reporter Javed Akhter, who was injured in the attack on Supreme Court premises.


The party's Health Affairs Secretary Dr Rafiqul Islam visited Javed at Islami Bank Hospital, Kakrail   on behalf of Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.


During the visit, Tarique Rahman talked to the injured Javed Akhter on mobile phone and inquired about his physical condition.


BNP Acting Chairman assured Javed that strict organizational measure    would be taken against if the persons from BNP  are involved in  the attack.


He also took all  responsibilities for the treatment of the injured Javed.


Earlier, some miscreants attacked on several journalists centring on standing in the press briefing at the court premises today following the High Court's verdict in the case of the attempted assassination of Sheikh Hasina at Ishwardi Railway Station in Pabna three decades ago.
