DHAKA, Feb 6, 2025 (BSS) - Nine dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the last 24 hours till this morning.

"During the period, three patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, one in Chattogram, one in Mymensingh, two in Dhaka South and two were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka North," said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of case rose to 1,245 while 10 deaths from dengue disease were reported this year.

Last year, the total number of cases rose to 1,01,214, while 575 deaths from dengue disease were reported, the statement added.
