DHAKA, Feb 6, 2025 (BSS)-The annual sports competition of Dhaka University Shamsun Nahar Hall was held at central play ground on Thursday.  

Zuairia Ferdous of mass communication and journalism department emerged champion while Nilufa Yasmin Nila of history department finished runners-up in the meet.

Earlier, on the day, Dhaka University pro-vice chancellor (administration) professor Dr Saima Haque Bidisha formally inaugurated the competition as the chief guest. 

She also distributed the prizes among the winners' after the competition.

President of Dhaka University athletics committee professor Dr SM Arif Mahmood, acting director of physical education center SM Zakaria along with provosts of various halls, resident teachers and students were present in the prize distribution ceremony, presided by Shamsun Nahar Hall provost Professor Dr Nasrin Sultana.
